NECTO Selection are working with a growing NI, specialist construction company. Due to an increase in large MTC projects across NI and greater Belfast they are seeking a new Senior QS that will also get involved in Contracts Management.

As a senior member of the commercial team you will be given your own project to manage. There will be a requirement to be visit sites weekly and the rest of time is working from home and visiting the office.

Responsibilities for the position include;

·        Working on Minor Works, planned and responsive

·        Working on Autocad

·        Assisting the operations team to complete projects

·        Control the cost of ongoing projects

·        BOQ’s / Pricing / Tendering

·        Sub-Contractors Payments / Procurement

·        Budget Costing / Budget Forecasting

·        Pricing – PSA Schedule of Rates MTC

What's required?

·        Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

·        Relevant Main Contractor experience.

·        Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.

·        Ability to interpret & make calculations based on drawings.

·        Flexible & professional approach to work, self-motivated, confident & organised.

·        Sound IT skills including Microsoft Office & Excel.

·        Autocad proficiency
